It was a great surprise for me when some friends and senior colleagues advised and insisted that I should take up the presidentship of our imposing NPL-Former Scientists Forum (NPL-FSF) which was founded and nurtured for 16 long years by our distinguished colleagues and had set up high standard rarely seen in many such associations. Aims and Objectives

The NPL Former Scientists Forum (NPL-FSF) is a professional/social non-profit organization, with the following Aims and Objectives

To look after the interest of the Members in general.
To pass on any useful and up-to-date information (including Government Circulars/Memoranda etc.) on issues of common interest to the Members.
To take up issues of common interest of the Members with the appropriate authorities.
To organize Lectures/Talks of common interest to the Members by experts in various fields.
To share the problems of the Members and to try to help each other as far as possible.
To invite Director NPL, DGSIR, the Minister or any such authority, to share his/her views with the Members, and to interact with them from time to time.
To organize social activities for the Members.
