NPL-FORMER SCIENTISTS FORUM

Applications are invited for the following NPL FSF Annual Awards offered by the NPL-Former Scientists Forum for the year 2023. 

i) The children of all the NPL employees are eligible to apply.     

ii) Annual Awards will also be given to children of NPL employees, who passed away during the service period for supporting their education.

AWARDS

A-1 (For securing the highest aggregate marks in CLASS X (Science stream), among applicants.               Amount: Rs 4000/- will be awarded to 2 candidates 

A-2 (For securing the highest aggregate marks in science CLASS XII, (Science stream) among applicants.                   Amount: Rs 5000/- will be awarded to 2 candidates 

A-3 (For admission in a science/engineering/medical degree/ Professional Diploma course having cleared NEET/CUET Exam – 2 nos.)  Rs. 5000/- each

A-4 (For children of NPL employees who have unfortunately expired during the service period for continuing their education.) Rs 5000/- will be awarded to 2 candidates 

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

A-1 & A-2: The basis of selection will be his/her securing highest aggregate marks in the relevant class X and  XII examination of the CBSE/CISCE (2023), as the case may be, among the applicants in the merit list prepared by the Awards Committee.

 * The child should have obtained at least 90% marks 

* Proof of continuing further studies in the science stream is to be submitted.

 * The decision of the Awards Committee will be final.

 

A-3: Candidates getting admission in Undergraduate courses (Science, Engineering, Medical etc.), having cleared NEET/CUET Exam – 2 nos.

** Applicants are hereby instructed to apply for one award only.                      

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

*Attested Photocopy of Mark-sheet of Class of a recognised school or class XII/X CBSE/CISCE candidate, as the case may be. The original mark sheet will be required at the time of scrutiny of the applications.

* Proof of continuing his/her further studies in the science stream. Original will be required at the time of scrutiny.

* Declaration that the child is not getting an award from any other source. 

* Particulars of service of the parent at NPL with residential Address and Telephone / Mobile No. etc. of the applicant, 

HOW TO APPLY

* Application may be submitted on an Application form (available at DNPL office) by the parent in case  

  of NPL employee to the ‘President, NPL Former Scientists Forum’, along with required documents.

* The envelope should be marked NPL-FSF Annual Awards – 2023

* The application may be submitted at DNPL OFFICE, NPL 45609201.

Applications on the prescribed form should be submitted on or before 30th September 2023.

Those who wish to apply for the Award should collect a copy of the Circular from
